Three years of the corruption eradication commission’s institutional reform: A narrative policy analysis

Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) has been in a dramatic institutional transition since the enactment of Second Amendment CEC Law 2019, followed by series subsequent policies. The policy narrativepresented government and DPR as policy-making actors is that was carried out to strengthen performance KPK. Meanwhile, counter-narratives emerged said opposite. This discourse took place intensively from 2019 2022, judging number media reports. As result narrative debate, based on several surveys, KPK experienced significant decline level trust public. Using Narrative Policy Analysis, this study poses question: how does construct KPK's reform narrative? research finds built distant belief systems, but not accompanied adequate positive incentives, resulting prolonged polemic. In study, it suggested conduct comprehensive evaluation policy, open space for dialogue involving counter-narrative actors, better advocacy.
